Week 5

During the course of creating my cave paintings perhaps the most annoying part of the process was knowing that people have no idea why cave paintings were created and that every theory of why they were created has been disproved by another.  As a result I began to wonder that I would have done for this project if I had not found all these different theories.  The most interesting part of the project was seeing the possible connections between cave paintings and the religions of the Egyptians and Greeks.  The Egyptians would bury their Pharaohs in pyramids, which inside are very dark and cave like with pictures of the deceased, and in Greek mythology some of the gods are born and buried in caves.
